Belgrade ZOO. / I've sworn to myself that I'm content with loneliness,because none of it was ever worth the risk.

The Belgrade Good Hope Garden is a zoo located in Belgrade, Serbia. The zoo is situated at the very centre of the city, in Kalemegdan Park. The zoo was founded in 1936 and is one of the oldest zoos in Europe .Its present look is contributed by many built facilities, new drinking-fountains, Wooden Sculpture Gallery, the work of the sculptor Vuk Bojović and the nursery for young animals - Baby Zoo. This amazing zoo has 2,000 animals representing about 270 different species. The zoo holds domestic as well as exotic wild animals.

This is a meerkat. They are super cute and they were playing,jumping and running the whole time. Meerkats are small burrowing animals, living in large underground networks with multiple entrances which they leave only during the day. They are very social, living in colonies averaging 20–30 members.

Yes, I'm trying to imitate a camel. But she doesn't even care.What can I say-she's a diva. Interesting fact about camels - The term "camel" is derived via Latin and Greek (camelus and kamēlos respectively) from Hebrew or Phoenician gāmāl , possibly from a verb root meaning to bear or carry.

This is the Southern Ground Hornbill. This is a large bird, at 90 to 129 centimetres long.Southern Ground Hornbill groups are very vocal: contact is made by calls in chorus which can usually be heard at distances of up to 3 kilometres. I was suprised by the fact that they rarely drink.

This is a beautiful swan. Swans are just stunning! Swans feed in the water and on land.They are known to aggressively protect their nests,which I found amazing.

This is the most perfect animal ever - White Bengal tiger ! A typical  Bengal tiger's coat is yellow to light orange, with stripes ranging from dark brown to black; the belly and the interior parts of the limbs are white, and the tail is orange with black rings,and the White Bengal tiger is basically a subspecie .

For its 60th anniversary it was enriched with a monument dedicated to its once most interesting and most famous resident - Sammy the chimpanzee, the first of its kind ever in this Zoo.

I really have to say that I had a great time there.This my fifth time at Belgrade Zoo but every time I go there it's like my first time. So many amazing animals collected into one place.It's really worth seeing.My favourite so far are tigers,kangaroos,bears and of course meerkats ,those adorable animals. People tell me all the time that this ZOO isn't big like the others- then why are my legs almost bleeding everytime I try to see every single part of it? It's really beautiful and If any of you,my dear readers,has a chance to visit Belgrade you should really go there. 

I didn't wrote anything lately because I'm finishing my school year in a week. I only have three more tests - Math,English and Physic ,so I will be studying these three this weekend. And did I mentioned that the last two parts of The Vampire Diaries have finally arrived! YAY! I hope that everything will go great this week because I can't wait for this school year to end!
